Our Restoration Process
1. Cleaning
The roof surface is thoroughly cleaned to identify and assess any existing and potential problems.
All excess dirt, grime, moss, mould and lichen and other contaminates are removed using a high pressure water blast at a minimum of 4000 PSI. Flaking paint is removed to provide a clean surface.
2. Repair and Replace
Worn loose screws, nails and roof sheets are removed and replaced where required and spot-primed using Rust Conqueror prior to the application of any top coats for maximum adhesion.
Repair and replacement of roof flashings, curbs and other projections to ensure they are strong and secure.
3. Coatings
The entire roof area is primed with Rust conqueror which is a powerful rust penetrating, moisture repelling clear varnish like coating that has had UV stabilizers added to improve its performance. Rust conqueror will stop further under film corrosion. This product etches itself into the previous substrate for maximum adhesion and longer lasting protection. The second coat is a coloured top coat which is applied prior to a final roof coating.
